#Electric #car

The idea with the electric car that runs on salt water sounds interesting. But there are also critical voices. Thus, it is explained that the redox flow cell is not operated with normal salt water, but with a mixture of zinc and bromine. This is unfortunately poisonous.

That being said, there are always new and interesting ideas in the field of energy generation and mobility. This is inspiring and you can also modify and improve ideas. At least there is at first a first model.

#Electric #car can drive with salt water
saradina-info-blog on 19.09.2019 um 16:57 (UTC)
While ordinary electric cars can often travel only relatively short distances, there is now a company that has developed a concept for electric cars so that the electric cars can drive with salt water.
This allows the cars to drive long distances up to 600 kilometers. Saltwater is also very cheap as a fuel and no toxic exhaust gases are produced.
Conventional electric cars drive by magnetism, the electric cars that drive with salt water drive, produce the necessary energy through a chemical reaction (redox reduction).
The technology with the salt water drive is made possible by a technology with flow cells.
That is certainly a good way and is more promising than the conventional electric cars. But in my opinion, it is in principle advantageous to set different sources of energy. So you could work in addition to the saltwater propulsion still solar cells, so that creates additional flexibility.
The problem, however, is that the salt water is not water with standard household salt. So rather an exotic suggestion.

#Safety during #thunderstorms

Thunderstorms can damage technical equipment such as televisions and computers by overvoltage. Therefore, during thunderstorms with computers pull the plug.

Combine #solar #technology and #3d #printing

Could you combine 3d printing and solar technology?

Could you print solar modules yourself with a 3d printer?

#3d #printing Poor outcome
saradina-info-blog on 13.09.2019 um 07:25 (UTC)
Private users of 3d printers find many shortcomings in the practical application.

- Confusion of filaments
- Poor timing of the individual work steps
- Overheating until burned

It would be very helpful if the providers of 3d printer for private users would install a thermostat in the devices.

#3d #printing Private users
saradina-info-blog on 12.09.2019 um 19:51 (UTC)
Unlike municipalities and cities, private users seem to be interested in 3d printing.
But it is always the same: for small private users, the offers are very expensive and on the other hand, the 3d printers that private users can buy, technically not yet mature.

Thus, private users complain in forums that there are always practical problems with simple projects. For example, the filaments become confused, or the printer becomes too hot, or other problems.

It gives the impression that the 3d printers offered to private users are inferior in quality and overpriced.
In addition, it seems that the private users have resigned themselves to it and have a kind of hobbyist mentality.
