#Photoemission, #aura and #photography, everything new?
saradina-info-blog on 21.05.2025 um 07:42 (UTC) |
| | Recently, researchers using highly specialized cameras have succeeded in photographing the extremely faint light surrounding living organisms.
This light is very faint and can only be reproduced with specialized cameras.
However, this light only appears in living organisms; after death, it gradually fades away.
This new photography technique has generated considerable interest among the mainstream media. The light effects depicted have been described in some cases as "auras," a term particularly popular among esotericists. The mainstream media are deeply astonished that a concept long considered a fantasy of esotericists is now based on fact.
Interestingly, the same media outlets fail to mention the fact that as early as 1937, an imaging technique was developed by the Armenian-Soviet Kirlian couple that demonstrated the light effects present around living subjects.
In 1937, the technical equipment and scientific knowledge were different than today. The Kirlian couple’s imaging technique was based on high-frequency photography.
But even with this technique it was possible to show that a light effect can be seen around living beings, which, however, disappears after death.
Kirlian photography enjoyed great popularity, especially among esotericists, and was immediately associated with the concept of "aura." This popularity among esotericists resulted in Kirlian photography being discredited in major media outlets and never mentioned.
Although the current development of the new camera for imaging light phenomena around living beings is based on a new, contemporary technology, the tenor is very similar:
Living beings have an "aura" as long as they live, and this extremely faint light disappears when death occurs.
It is a pity that a historical development that was—at its time—interesting is not mentioned at all, even though it is thematically related to the new technology. | | | |

#Multitasking - #Perception, #Stress and #Memory #Performance
saradina-info-blog on 08.05.2025 um 07:36 (UTC) |
| | Multitasking is highly praised, especially by employers. However, multitasking doesn't seem to be good for mental health.
As I wrote elsewhere:
„Multitasking is always praised for its time savings and economy. Women were supposed to do that better than men. The fact is that neither men nor women are good at doing several things at the same time. It makes both men and women unfocused and only costs a lot of nerve power. Basically, multitasking is all about squeezing out people like lemons.
Therefore always do everything slowly and quietly. Do not rush.“
Concentration means gathering one's thoughts around a central point (center). This focusing primarily promotes the perception of what is at the center—that is, the center of focus.
However, the best possible perception is the basis for the formation of memory content.
With multitasking, however, the power of concentration is broken, and mental energy is directed in different directions.
The topics that share the power of perception in multitasking do not necessarily have to be related to one another.
As a result, the quality of perception for each individual activity deteriorates, and the memories become more superficial.
Multitasking creates stress, which is generally unhealthy if experienced too frequently.
This reduces memory performance, at least for the tasks involving multitasking. If the stress caused by multitasking is constantly repeated, it seems plausible that multitasking stress has a negative impact on memory performance over a lifetime.

Can there be #waves without #particles?
saradina-info-blog on 04.05.2025 um 07:14 (UTC) |
| | There have long been different views on the nature of light.
Some interpret the light as an electromagnetic wave, others see the light as a collection of photons.
A new interpretation of the double slit experiment comes to the conclusion that the nature of light can only be explained with particles.
But let's be honest: can there even be waves without particles and doesn't the interpretation of light as "electromagnetic waves" also indicate particles?
When water expresses itself as a wave, the wave still consists of water.
Waves must consist of something, and interpreting them as particles in no way contradicts their appearance as a wave.
Everything flows.

#Thoughts and #Questions

| | You can kill people and destroy lives.
But it's impossible to eliminate thoughts, opinions, and questions from the world.
There are thoughts and questions that keep coming up. You can't change that.

Does #dementia begin with a #lack of #attention?
saradina-info-blog on 19.03.2025 um 08:00 (UTC) |
| | At the beginning, attention determines the quality of perception. At the end, there is storage in memory.
When dementia is discussed, research focuses on pure memory performance.
This ignores the fact that there is an entire chain of mental performances that precedes storage in memory. Thus, concentration and attention initially determine the quality of perception. Only then does storage in memory follow.
The better the attention, the better the perception, the better and more solid the data that can be stored in memory.
The poorer and more superficial the attention, the poorer the perceptual data, the weaker the imprint in the memory storage.
Therefore, it seems useful to prioritize training concentration and perception if one wants to improve memory.
It is like a root and a plant: concentration is the root, perception is the flower stem, and memory is the flower.
These facts are given far too little consideration. When solving problems, one should start with the underlying structure and not approach things from the end.

How #competent are #politicians?
saradina-info-blog on 25.02.2025 um 07:11 (UTC) |
| | Politicians have great power and a high income on the one hand, but on the other hand they also have great responsibility.
Power and money on the one hand, responsibility on the other.
But why do people strive for a great career in politics? Are they interested in power and money or in taking responsibility for making important decisions in public life and acting for the benefit of the citizens?
This question arises when one observes how professionally incompetent many politicians are with regard to the offices they hold.
Many ministers lack professional qualifications; philosophers become ministers of economics and bankers become ministers of health.
Some of the high-ranking politicians have no qualifications at all, neither a degree nor professional training. They are practically unskilled, having spent a few semesters at university without success and working as a dishwasher on the side. Many have never had a serious life as professionals.
Nevertheless, they are given high political offices with a correspondingly high salary and are expected to bear responsibility.
Now you could reply that high-ranking politicians receive professional advice from relevant experts. But this argument is a smokescreen, because how can a politician who has no real idea of the field he represents politically be able to judge whether his political advisors are making plausible suggestions?
In the normal professional world, everyone who applies for a job has to demonstrate the relevant qualifications beforehand. In politics, no one needs that. All it takes is a suitable party affiliation and an effective smile and a sufficiently aggressive demeanor as well as a high level of talent as an intriguer. And you have a high position in politics.
This situation is becoming increasingly intolerable, especially since the functioning of an entire state and the reality of life of its citizens are at stake. Politics must not remain a casino game.
It is therefore necessary that politicians are only employed in areas for which they have professional qualifications. The appropriate professional qualifications of politicians for the respective political office sought must be laid down by law.
