#Mutiny on #Mars? #Astronomy
saradina-info-blog on 26.12.2022 um 14:43 (UTC) |
| In addition to a number of technical difficulties in colonizing Mars, there is the human aspect.
It can be assumed that people who work on Mars in the service of corporations or countries, for example, in order to make Mars generally usable or even habitable for humans, have to do very hard physical, mental and social work.
Good wages, a great adventure or the prospect of becoming famous are certainly attractive. Nevertheless, it will be an extremely tough job, with every single employee risking their health and life.
But despite all the hardships, the new alien planet will eventually be something like a new home for these first workers on Mars.
At some point, some employees will not only be proud of their own achievements, but they will also ask themselves to what extent some clients, who are increasingly distant from them not only spatially but also in practical life, have the right to instruct them as the first real inhabitants of Mars admit.
These employees have then achieved so much, risked so much, that they may want more than a job with some powerful person.
It is the longing for freedom, for a new beginning without all the legacies of social transgressions on the home planet.
So in the distant future there could be a mutiny by the human inhabitants of Mars against an earthly system that is no longer recognized as the commanding authority.
Good luck to the mutineers, as exploring and repopulating alien planets should be a real fresh start, not exporting a decadent system ruled by a plutocracy.

Moon Wars - Who Owns the #Moon? #astronomy
saradina-info-blog on 26.11.2022 um 15:47 (UTC) |
| After a long hiatus, leading space nations are again interested in manned spaceflight.
On the one hand, interesting raw materials lure, on the other hand, there seem to be caves on the moon that have a temperature that is just below room temperature. There is also increasing evidence that there is water on the moon.
But the moon can offer other interesting possibilities. The moon has recently been discussed as an excellent stepping stone into space.
The more attractive the moon - the greater the covetousness on an international level and the greater the possible international competition.
The question remains: who owns the moon?
Of course, there are unctuous words that say the moon belongs to no one and when all men are allowed to share the benefits brotherly.
Anyone who believes these words may be a bit naïve.
The Family of Man has never managed to behave seriously on our planet Earth and to evenly distribute goods and responsibilities in a meaningful way.
While the interest and excitement of conquering new zones in space is very tempting, it will not be without raging wars, many powerful starting wars, much of which will be fought on Earth.
Since the next manned space flights to the moon are already planned for the next few years, and unfriendly competition between important powers is already looming, it is plausible that over the next few decades moon wars will take place, either openly or through other pseudo-causes.

Smile of summer
Autumn: the vase is broken, shards of glass, shiny water flows to the floor. Tears?
Winter will come. No other way.

Paradox: periods of #drought and high air #humidity at the same time
saradina-info-blog on 29.08.2022 um 19:53 (UTC) |
| In recent years, Central Europe has been hit by massive periods of drought.
Regions in Central Europe that are otherwise plentifully supplied with rain and water and deep, wide rivers are also affected.
For the inhabitants of these regions, rain was simply “bad weather”. Today they long for the rain.
The fields, the meadows, the gardens, everything dries up due to the pitiless lack of water.
The forests are dying slowly, forest fires are breaking out in many places.
The rivers dry up and entire transport routes come to a standstill.
In earlier times, when the rain still came plentifully from the clouds, the word “drought” meant only deep-seated problems of certain continents and regions.
Today, people in Central Europe are afraid that this situation could become entrenched.
Paradoxically, the cruel drought and lack of rain are accompanied by high humidity.
Now it should be said that the high humidity should favor rain. And you keep hearing phrases like:
“If the air pressure drops quickly and the humidity is high, then it’s almost certainly going to rain.”
But nothing of the sort happens. Even with a frequent humidity of around 80 percent not a single drop of rain falls.
The high humidity means high health problems, such as respiratory problems, general malaise and cardiovascular problems.
At the same time, people who are stressed out by the suddenly occurring drought have to fight against permanent health problems caused by the high humidity.
This is all extremely peculiar and nothing really fits together.

On the side of #reason

| From a political point of view, I am on the side of reason. Unfortunately, reason is not organized in one party.
